A Bit About Me

For the past nine years, I’ve been working as a multidisciplinary coach, designer, and event producer across the creative, business, and education sectors. Before this, I spent fourteen years in London as a fashion and textile designer, creating for brands including Laura Ashley, Monsoon, and John Lewis.

In 2016, I transitioned from fashion into the world of wellbeing and personal development, retraining as a coach and workshop facilitator. Since then, I’ve worked with clients one-to-one and delivered workshops and programmes nationally while continuing to evolve my design practice.

My own inward journey began in 2014, during a time of personal upheaval. I found myself feeling lost, disconnected, and like a spectator in my own life. Through meditation and therapy, I began to uncover repressed parts of myself and make sense of long-held patterns. It wasn’t an easy process, but from that pain emerged transformation. I left my long-standing design career, moved away from London, and began rebuilding a life aligned with my true values and purpose.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients around the world from professionals seeking clarity and change, to students finding their direction, to organisations bringing personal development into their work culture. I’ve collaborated with Nottingham Trent University, the University of West London, the University of Bolton, the British Islam Conference, and the National Trust.

My approach to coaching is holistic and integrative, drawing on Western psychology, Eastern mysticism, and my own lived experience. I have deep respect for diverse paths of healing and growth, and while I value all spiritual traditions, I’m particularly inspired by Sufism, its beauty, philosophy, art, and poetry, and its ability to transcend boundaries. My work weaves together my love for beauty found in nature, art, literature, music, relationships, and self-expression with the transformative power of self-awareness.

If you’d like to work together and begin your own evolutionary journey, I’d love to hear from you. And if you’d like to explore my artwork inspired by Islamic heritage, art, and culture, please take a look in the shop.
