Shukran, the Arabic word for 'thank you,' carries a profound sense of gratitude, one that may be offered both to those we love and to the Divine. The deep aubergine tone of this print was inspired by the calligraphy found in a bifolium from the Pink Qur’an (Spain, 13th century), now housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
 
Each artwork is hand-printed on A4 Khadi handmade, fair-trade, 100% cotton rag paper. The print is unframed but will be mounted on card, sealed in a clear protective sleeve, and carefully packaged in a hardboard-backed envelope. Due to the nature of hand-printing, each print may vary slightly.
